實(shí)用英語之經(jīng)典面試英語系列學(xué)習(xí)（八）
background：個(gè)人的興趣愛好其實(shí)主要體現(xiàn)在業(yè)余活動(dòng)上，對(duì)于剛?cè)肷鐣?huì)的學(xué)生來說，業(yè)余活動(dòng)主要就是課外活動(dòng)。
課外活動(dòng)包括社會(huì)活動(dòng)和業(yè)余愛好。
豐富多彩的課外活動(dòng)表示你希望豐富自己的社會(huì)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，發(fā)揮多方面的才能。通過你所參加的課外活動(dòng)，可以看出你的交際能力、價(jià)格修養(yǎng)、成熟程度和健康狀況。比如說你當(dāng)學(xué)生會(huì)主席的經(jīng)歷能夠表明你人緣好、善處人際關(guān)系、有領(lǐng)導(dǎo)才能等。
因此，如果你曾參加什么課外活動(dòng)，就如實(shí)寫出來。這些活動(dòng)可以幫助雇主了解你，成為有利的條件。課外活動(dòng)對(duì)于剛剛走出校門的朋友來說，是找工作時(shí)的一個(gè)相當(dāng)重要的條件。
面試時(shí)我們最想向面試官展現(xiàn)的就是我們的能力了，那么一個(gè)人的能力到底是什么呢？通常我們理解為工作能力，技術(shù)能力等等，其實(shí)不僅僅是這些。我們先來看看關(guān)于個(gè)人能力的背景知識(shí)：
background：
個(gè)人能力集中表現(xiàn)在社會(huì)榮譽(yù)、工作業(yè)績、科研成果、著作等，這里最主要的是著作和工作成果。
著作包括所有出版過的書，發(fā)表過的論文。這一項(xiàng)對(duì)科研、學(xué)術(shù)工尤為重要。如果內(nèi)容與所申請(qǐng)的職位密切相關(guān)，不僅應(yīng)列入其中，而且可扼要介紹作品內(nèi)容、社會(huì)影響和效果。面試時(shí)，應(yīng)帶上作品的原件或復(fù)印件。
了解到到底什么是個(gè)人能力以后，我們?cè)賮砜匆欢螌?duì)話：
a：would you talk about your merits？
b：yes， sir. when i was the sales manager of beijing friendship store， i succeeded in raising yearly sales volume by 25% at profit margins of from 50% to 80%.
a：have you received any honors or rewards？

b：yes. my book entitled a preliminary survey of controlling inflation was published by china finance publishing house in 1993.
