我們知道，新托�？谡Z(yǔ)考試的第一部分被命名為Independentdescription， 這就意味著考生在本道題里的任務(wù)是在沒(méi)有閱讀或聽(tīng)力作為背景知識(shí)的情況下進(jìn)行獨(dú)立描述�？碱}中心詞可能是人物、地點(diǎn)、物品和事件中的任意一種，考生會(huì)得到15秒準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間和45秒的陳述時(shí)間。這個(gè)部分對(duì)于廣大考生來(lái)說(shuō)，最大的備考的幾點(diǎn)難度在于：
題庫(kù)范圍特別大，不存在逐題準(zhǔn)備的可能性。
15秒的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間極短，很難進(jìn)行完整的思路整理。
45秒的陳述時(shí)間對(duì)于不熟悉的話題來(lái)說(shuō)，比較難控制。
屏幕上的倒數(shù)計(jì)時(shí)器對(duì)于考生是個(gè)很大的心理震懾。
下面將按照人、地、事、物四種類型分別提供一些策略供廣大考生備考。
一、 人物類
我們拿例題來(lái)分析：Describethe person you admire most. Explain why you admire this person. Include detailsand examples to support your response. 拿到一個(gè)題目后，腦海中應(yīng)該馬上浮現(xiàn)出最基本的答題框架：topicsentence + supporting ideas。 topic sentence最簡(jiǎn)單的做法就是把原題做paraphrase， 只要不完全照抄原題就好。所以，筆記任務(wù)就落在整合supportingideas的思路上。對(duì)于考試極短的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間來(lái)說(shuō)，外貌特征等細(xì)節(jié)描述沒(méi)有品質(zhì)描述容易，所以，考試可以試試在15秒時(shí)間內(nèi)整合幾個(gè)形容詞引導(dǎo)思路，如：humorous、open-minded、easy-going、warm-hearted、sociable、high-driven、visionary、knowledgeable、he’sa very open-mindedperson and he’s always flexible to changes。同時(shí)我們還可以用舉例的方法來(lái)進(jìn)行擴(kuò)展，如He’sa high-drivenguy and he worked so hard on his TOEFL test， study almost 24/7.
二、 地點(diǎn)類
其實(shí)地點(diǎn)題是托�？谡Z(yǔ)規(guī)律性最強(qiáng)的考題，按照不同的考題要求，我們可以簡(jiǎn)單地把地點(diǎn)整合為四種：大地點(diǎn)、中地點(diǎn)、私人場(chǎng)所和公共場(chǎng)所，然后，直接鎖定需要準(zhǔn)備的四個(gè)地方：acountry、acity、aroom、alibrary。
以大地點(diǎn)為例，介紹一個(gè)國(guó)家，比如Britain。我們可以從幾個(gè)角度分析：
time-honoredhistory and splendid culture，這之后可以給出一些歷史景點(diǎn)來(lái)證明觀點(diǎn)，比如ElizabethTower和Big Ben。
abundantEnglish breakfast and delicate refreshments in the afternoon
royalfamily & royal parade
prestigiousuniversities and prominent professors
這些信息整合起來(lái)可以應(yīng)對(duì)類似于Describea place you’ve never been to but want to visit someday. Include details andexamples to support your response.
三、 事件題
What is the most memorable event youexperienced in your life? Explain why it is memorable. 類似的事件題的關(guān)鍵形容詞可以換為：embarrassing、challenging、disappointing、hard等等。較難的題可以出成：Describe a time when youneeded help from others， how he or she helped you and what was the result? Please includedetails and examples to support your answer. 這類題目跟個(gè)人親身經(jīng)歷有關(guān)，考場(chǎng)上容易一時(shí)沒(méi)有思路，也很難去杜撰，所以應(yīng)在考前多去回憶童年往事，同時(shí)嘗試著用英文表達(dá)出來(lái)。假如實(shí)再無(wú)法勾起美好的回憶，那就去杜撰吧，注意是考前練習(xí)時(shí)杜撰，千萬(wàn)別到了考場(chǎng)上再去杜撰。
四、 物品題
Choose an object you like and explain whyit is of special value to you. Please include specific examples and details inyour explanation.這道題屬于物品題，備考難度在于出題范圍格外廣，可能會(huì)出成：atype of pet、akind of game、yourimportant gift�？忌梢試L試從兩個(gè)角度去答題：對(duì)物品本身的簡(jiǎn)單描述+物品的來(lái)源或是重要意義，如描述寵物可以說(shuō)：coz he keeps mecompany、whenI was upset， hewas always by my side。又如描述禮物可以說(shuō)： The PSP was a gift frommy Grandpa， it was a credit to my hard work on the SAT test.
