　　China plans to renovate 2.65 million dilapidated housesfor poor rural households in the central and western regions this year, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) said Monday.
　　住房和城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)部周一稱，我國(guó)計(jì)劃今年完成中西部265萬(wàn)農(nóng)村貧困戶危房的改造。
　　在上面的報(bào)道中，dilapidated houses就是“危房”，也可以用run-down houses來(lái)表示。Run-down意思是“破敗的，失修的”。危房就是破敗失修、隨時(shí)可能倒塌的房屋。危房將被改造為energy-efficient housing（節(jié)能型住宅）。
　　此次危房改造的重點(diǎn)對(duì)象是poor rural households（農(nóng)村貧困戶），包括household enjoying the five guarantees（五保戶）、household enjoying the minimum living guarantee（低保戶）、household of impoverished people with disabilities（貧困殘疾人家庭）等。
